The conference brought together a select group of international figures, representatives of civil society organizations, experts in human rights, media, and education, and policymakers from around the world.\n    <\/div><div class=\"crx-img-frame-a19\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/un-ico.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/e60b7292-f035-4b57-974f-2c2c6e69cfb5.jpg\" alt=\"Opening session of the Brussels Conference\"\/><\/div><div class=\"crx-paragraph-f81\">During the fruitful sessions of the conference, the most prominent challenges related to the phenomena of hatred and extremism were addressed, along with ways to effectively address them by promoting the values \u200b\u200bof understanding and mutual respect between cultures, religions, and societies.\n    <\/div><div class=\"crx-img-frame-a19\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/un-ico.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/c691b551-73a0-4d95-98b0-feb6c7c04b66.jpg\" alt=\"Panel discussion on coexistence\"\/><\/div><div class=\"crx-paragraph-f81\">The conference also commended the pioneering role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in promoting a culture of coexistence and interfaith and intercultural dialogue, as well as its ongoing efforts to de-escalate regional conflicts and prevent the escalation of humanitarian crises.
